have a baystat 239 that im replacing with a carrier tstatccbhp01-b.

baystat wiring
x2=blk
o=orng
g=grn
y=ylw
t=tan/brn
r=red
w=white, jumpered w/"u"
f=not used
b=blue

tstat:
6 pins from top to bottom:
w
o
g
r
c
y

i got a reply from a person named houston and told me to hook everything to the coresponding color C=blue and tape off tan and black separately. If i remember specifically when i first took off this tsat, thier was a jumper but cant remember on what?
I have since replaced the tstat with a honeywell and now using the tstat at another locaction.....
ok sorry i missed an important part.....i took houstons advise and when everything was connected, i got nothing. the only thing i got waswhen i pressed and held fan for a few sec and heard the blower motor kick but went off right away.....any advise!!!!!!

If you didn't remove power to your fancoil before replacing the stat, you probably need a fuse.
If it is a Trane fancoil it may need...

Most brands use a blade type low voltage fuse...

Some units use a low voltage reset...

Connect black and white to W.

"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
