I have a Trane XV80. I'm having trouble finding any information about it, and the Trane website doesn't provide manuals. My manuals don't have the information I'm looking for.
I have some water in the bottom of the unit - about 1-2 inches. I have had it there before and vacuumed it up, but now I see it again. The pan is quite rusty as a result. Not sure if it is normal condensation during humid times or what.
Also I am seeing a blinking red light in the little round glass that is on the side panel.
These seem like easy questions to figure out if I could just get a reasonable manual. Any suggestions about these problems or where I could get the answers?
thanks

The water is not normal in the bottom of the unit. There should be drains to carry any condensed water away. The drains might beclogged, or not installed properly. Get that corrected before it damages the heat exchanger and you have to replace the whole furnace.
The red light is a status light on the furnace board. It blinks to indicate operational status as well as any encountered errors. A slow, steady blink is normal. A fast steady blink is normal when the furnace is on for heating mode. Other blink patters, like two flashes and a pause indicate a fault or error in the heating sequence.

You are not going to get that information out of a manual.
