I live in a 1200 Sq ft Single Family home. The compressor unit is out back and the air handler is in the attic. The coil in the handler was just replaced due to a leak and system re-serviced. My unit can't cool the house below 80 degrees. I keep the blinds closed as much as possible to keep sunlight out and the house was built in 2005. I spray down the compressor unit now and then to keep it clean. I don't know what else to do. I just recently added a duct to the hallway where the thermostat is thinking it would help but I don't think it is. I checked the ducts in the attic for leaks while the system was running but couldn't feel or hear any cool air escaping. The temp difference between the return vent and first supply vent nearest the handler is about 15 degrees difference, but as I get further away its only about 10 degree difference. Is my unit to small or not enough air flow? Also if I wanted more airflow would I need a whole new air handler?

15 deg. air will not cool your house. Have the service company come out and check the pressures and temperatures. Sounds like something was done incorrectly on the coil install.

First thought... do you have attic stairs near the return? If so, insulate it somehow, and try to seal it off. These are notorious for dumping attic heat.
