Recently noticed that when the heater came on it was very loud. No heat delivered to pool - fan is running. Shut off heater - waited five minutes - turned it back on and it ran as quiet as new and delivered the usual heated water to pool. I have noticed this noise twice in a month. I'm guessing it has something to do with the compressor since the fan runs ok. Is there something that can be oiled on the compressor? It is 15 years old - is it on its last legs? What else should I listen for, or do?
