Well that's far too little info for a diagnosis although I can tell you that you don't need a new condenser, you do need a new technician.

Hey Duke.... I think we are doing things wrong. I suppose we are all going to have start condemning units just to do something and forget checking for the actual reason for a problem.

TnNate1412 you aint kiddin'. It seems like we are greatly outnumbered by hackers that are quick to condemn a running system. Some don't even use a meter. Speaking of hackers, I recall a post from Typhoon55. Note that this post was answered by yorself and me, and we agreed. Typhoon disagreed and posted this: "actually i have subsequently had a certified carrier tech advise as to the correct diagnosis. your advice is completely incompetant based on the symptoms given. You (not us or we) need to get a real job and not masquerade as a hvac tech. this forum is a joke. i hope future posters are not so ill-advised on this forum. The idea is to replace parts not the furnace"

theduke... glad you brought that old post up again as the entire unit was condemed by one of the experts on this forum. It turned out to be a bad circuit board. Geez, saved me a bundle by not following his advice... I was going to post the results before but decided to let things go until now

SOMEBODY forgot about all his other posts about questions on his system didn't he? I remember asking if he had his certified Carrier tech change all of those parts out, and he continued to post additional questions about problems with his furnace. 55, you need to go back and count all those posts about the problems. Later on, don't whine about having to replace the furnace, when the time is past for the Carrier RECALL on the furnace. Have a good day!
