Rheem classic X. Sometimes my compressor and exterior fan does not come on when it should. shutting everything down and restarting seems to cure this until it happens again, and sometimes it does not go off when it should freezing up the unit. Is there a relay for the condenser fan that could be causing the problems?

Need to replace the contactor on the unit. Sounds like it is pitted and welding stuck at times and not making connection when it doesn't start running.
