I have a 5 year old central a/c and heating unit. The inside blower motor works fine in the a/c on position. But when I have the a/c off and set the fan to "ON" position it will not come on. The fan only works when the a/c is on. When I turn the switch from "auto" to "on" I can hear a click and humming from inside the unit but the blower will not start.
