My home AC/heat just yesterday started blowing luke warm air...home is 6 years old...I have not changed the filter in a year or two.
The fan outside is running and the unit is running fine inside.
I bought a filter today and have a call in to one of the local companies to check it out and get an estimate.
Any info on what I should expect....could this be out of Freon???dirty filter????or something worse?
I happen all of the sudden...it was owrking fine yesterday and then I noticed end of day to was 83 in the house and if you stood in front of the vent it was noticeably "not cold air"

There's a reason you change the filter MONTHLY. You probably, at bare minimum have a dirty evaporator coil. You may have condemned your entire system.
