I have a Luxaire central air unit for about a year. About 3 weeks ago the 3 amp fuse blew out on control board in the airhandler. No problem found with the low voltage wiring to thermostat and the condensor unit. The fuse was replaced and the unit runs fine for 4-5 days and the fuse blew out again. I have replaced this fuse twice now and it is pretty consistant about lasting 4-5 days. Any ideas?

wiring checked, no shorts between air handler and compressor and the air handler and thermostat.

Replaced contactor in compressor, unit ran for about 16hrs and fuse again blew out.

Does it have a pressure switch in the outdoor unit? I've seen the control wire to it rub the copper pipes causing an intermittant short.
