My condenser fan motor has been running in the oposite direction for going on a year and a half now to where the heat is put out through the coils instead of up on top. I have not had a problem with it not cooling, but my old cond fan went out and I had a new one installed and the fan never got switch to the direction it was in from the beginning. Can this cause something to go wrong with my unit?

It is using a LOT more $$ electricity due to the fact that the discharge pressure is probably 50-75 psig higher than it should be. The compressor now has a shorter life etc etc. Get it fixed B4 it dies.
