I have a question to anyone that might know...I was working on a goodman hp that had a deformed dual run cap. and after I got it replaced I noticed the the compressor was hot and winding was opened. after it cooled down I checked charge, it was about 1 lb. low so I charged unit and checked amp draw-good temp spilt-good prssures perfect right about that time the outdoor fan motor gets extermly hot then quits. Compressor-still running. fan cools down then away we go. whats going on here???????????????????????????

need to check your ampdraw when it does this.could be you just have one of goodmans lemons,good luck
