Adding a 14 x 26 stall on my garage to be used as a workshop..Putting in a 45000 btu ceiling hanging natural gas heater and questions about the piping..will have to run approx 100 ft of pipe to get to this..I see flexible tubing for gas in 50 to 250 lengths..Question at the home store was if I could use 1/2 inch and run it for 100 ft legally and will it be enough for that length of run...Any help will be greatly appreciated...Many thanks..

Satisfaction is doing it right..

Hi,
First those yellow pipe is not allowed for DIY'ers. Licensed gas fitter can do it. At least where I am.

You need a licensed gas fitter to do it legally and for insurance co and liability reasons.
