old fan motor seized up on condenser. old wiring was br-outer post of capacitor. rd - center term of cap. bk-L1. new motor has br- cap. br /wht-cap. pur-L1. blk- L2. where do they go. help!

L1 and L2 means Line 1 and 2 of AC main power.

Your motor had red instead of the violet in my diagram but...
