Ok the vents inside my house are cold but there is no air coming from them. The thermostat is set to 72 but it is about 85 degrees inside.
The air return filter was horrible, it has been replaced.
The fan inside in my basement runs but there is still no air coming out of the vents.
I'm thinking its froze up outside because of the clogged filter on the air return inside but I really dont know.
Any ideas people?

your a-coil inside the air handler is probably froze up.if you have forced air heat that blows thru the a-coil you can turn on the furnace (heat) to defrost the a-coil.try the ac again ,aftrer the a-coil is defrosted,if it freezes up again ,call for service.you might be low on charge.
