Has anybody used this for natural gas? If so how has your results been. Guy wants to sell me a case, says he used it for years and is getting out of hvac.

Thanks

Odd name for a company but they are legit:

I have never heard of them and if his dope is old stock it may be hardening and useless. Unlike whiskey fresh dope is always da best.

Going back almost 40 years, I remember seeing a can of Rectorseal in the company shop.

The name sounds normal to me. Bet I have some in the truck now.

TruBlue is made by Rectorseal. I was at Ferguson's today picking up Nibco ball valves, copper ftgs & petes plugs. They had a whole line of Rectorseal products.

$400 for a small bag of ftgs and 2 sticks of type L. Copper is getting high.

Just be sure you get the rectorseal made for natural gas, not just water pipe fittings.
