I had an old carrier heat pump t-stat and tried to change it out to a aprilaire 8346 digital. I did this on my downstairs unit and everything is fine. Upstairs, I changed them and now the system will not turn on, I even put the old one back on and it will not run. I did not cut off any power or breakers, is there a fuse I could have tripped? The wires are c (put brown wire here),,w2,r,g,y,o..same as old t-stat. Help! I have no ac

Inside the indoor unit there should be a 3 or 5 amp mini fuse on the control board. If no fuse check for breaker on the transformer. A meter will also verify that you have main votage or secondary 24v at transformer to make sure it's not bad.

Hope this helps.

The indoor unit has 240 volts present, so turn off the disconnect(s) or breaker(s) before opening the panel.
(Probably not the breaker labeled heatpump, possibly AHU , Furnace, or Fancoil)

I don't have a Carrier example, but this is an example.
