Hello,
I recently started to hear a louder than normal noise when starting my air conditioner. I have two units and the noise between the two is very noticeable. It almost sounds like something is loose (i.e. fan or fan motor). The unit still produces cool air and appears to function normally other than the noise issue. The model is: 38YCC030300. I guess my question is whether there is anyway to troubleshoot this or if anyone knows what this problem could be?
Thanks!

Maybe bad bearings on fan motor, low charge, bad run capacitor, points bad on contactor. To many things to leave to chance, better to call a professional to check it out properly.
