i noticed this morning when going down to change the air filter in the furnace that there was water laying on the basement floor. not alot and more damp then standing water. but i noticed that the bottom of the furnace had water laying in the bottom of it and that the duct work have condensation on them. when i pulled the filter out it was wet as well. i wasn't sure what to think at first. but now im kinda at a loss. there is cold air coming outta the registers. but i know that i shouldn't have the water and condensation on the ducts and that much water laying in the bottom of furnace. the a/c unit is outside the furnace is in the basement
anyhelp would be great

Have you had the unit serviced recently, freon level checked etc. If the ducts are sweating then it may be that your basement is cold and damp and you need a de-humidifier. Get the unit checked to make sure it is not freezing up and that it is draining properly or you may have an expensive $$ repair bill soon.
