OK, came home from camping the other morning to find the house was 92 degrees inside. I checked the thermostat and found that it was set correctly. I went outside to the AC unit and it was not running at all. I checked the electrical shutoff and "T" and everthing seemed to be in order. I went into the basment and took the front of the furnace off and found that the blower fan was on but still no cold air. There is a green light in there that just keeps flashing. this happend to me last year as well and a service tech came out and replaced the curcuit board and everything was "cool" until now. so, it appears every year I will be paying for a tech to come out and change the curcuit board. I have called TITAN Heating and Cooling and they will be ther today at 1:30PM. Is it possible I could do this myself?

If your board is bad again, talk with the tech and ask about a surge protector for your furnace. It hard wires in and can save the board.Generally a small investment for protection of said board.
