The unit died yesterday. (found a small mouse on the 240V terminals fried....)
I measured 240V on the line side at the unit. The load terminals read 0V. Does anyone have a service manual for this unit? Does this unit have on board fuses if so where can I find them? Where should I start the troubleshooting??
Thanks for the help

Start by verifying that you have 24v on the low voltage connections to the unit(24v will be present with a cooling demand from stat). Check for 24v across the contactor coil. If 24v is present at unit, but not at the contactor then a pressure switch may be open. If 24v is present at contactor then replace the contactor. It is also possible that the mouse chewed up some wires in the outdoor unit or, if no 24v: transformer or fuse may have blown (low voltage circuit) which is located in the indoor unit. Most importantly be sure to shut off breakers for outdoor and indoor units and locate/repair any chewed wires in the outside unit first.
