It's been a while since posting about my HVAC situation. We are still renovating and have not moved in to the house. In the middle of all the renovations, I have made a little time to battle with the HVAC issue some. I still have yet to find a technician who will do a load calcuation/blower test, etc. I
think I have used everyone in my town. I would rather not go outside of town, otherwise who will I use for servicing this thing if something goes wrong. Anyway, I have recently found out that the 3.5 Ton unit has gone out and will need replacing. While I dont have the funds to do a lot upgrades to the home such as window replacment and wall insulation I am considering this "closed cell" foam rafter insulation. How much will this cut back my heat gain and again how do I know exactly what size unit will be the best choice for my home.
