My condensor drain backed up and water went every where. The lower drain pan was to small and didnot catch any water. Now the fan cycles on and off( only at night! ) Sometimes the compressor comes on and sometimes it doesn't. It's starting to drive me crazy. It won't happen when the repair man is here( of course) I've changed the thermastat and sometimes the system runs when it's off also. The draft blower comes on when the AC is running which leads me to believe everything works. I'm beginning to think the computer card got wet!

With that many faults, and sporatic occurances; you might have to blindly change a few parts to fix the problem. But, they all sound electrical, so change the board and see what happens.
