My Bryant Plus 90i Residential Heating/Cooling unit's blower motor pulses on and off every few seconds. However, if I change the thermostat fan setting from AUTO to ON the blower will continuously run properly on the low setting and then kick on high while cooling (everything works fine). I believe that I have an ECM that does not have a run capacitor (see pics). What do you think could be causing this?

What is the model# of furnace? Is there a blinking LED code?

Thank you for your reply. The model number is 355MAV060120 FHKA Series H. The amber LED status light is on and does not blink.

I think it's the thermostat.

It looks like the original thermostat may be discontinued ( http://www.bryant.com/products/controls/thermidistat.shtml ) but I can still find them on ebay for about $169. Any recommendation on a thermostat that would be compatible with my system and take full advantage of it (humidity control...)?

Also, due to the cost of the part, is there a way to test if it is the thermostat?

Thanks again for your help.
