Hi,
I currently have a Mercury thermostat (Honeywell LR1620) and it has a Red wire connecting to both the Rc and the Rh terminal in series. I currently purchased the Globe thermostat 59000 and it has just a R outlet terminal. Can I correctly assume that I can connect the Red wire to just the R terminal? Thank you for you help in advance.
