was wandering about the installation and want some feedback i have a guy wanting one he has about 800 sq feet and nowhere to put duct work this is something he requested never installed one but have installed contless goodman regular heating and cooling units also this is three small rooms just t looking for some feedback on these and maybe some tips and pointers. thabks in advance

Punctuation! Ductless splits are similar to installing split units. You will need to have a wall from which to hang the indoor unit. The AHU's can be a bother to hang and service. But, how do you plan to heat and cool the walled off rooms? Because the AHU is going to heat and the space that it is hung from.

i plan to use it to heat and cool, and what is involved in hanging one, what size are the line sets its 800 sq feet what size would ya reccommend? they keep the doors open now so im assuming that would still be ok? they have window units that are very loud the middle room is where it would hang its a setting room and the other 2 rooms are bedrooms im open to your suggestions or comments thanks

1 ton per 400 sqft= 2 ton unit.
If you are including the rooms with window units, then this is incorrect calculation.
You have to anchor the IDU to the wall, the anchor kik will come with the unit and a template as well for hanging. You have to penetrate the wall for the lineset and condensation line. Must have power outlet available. The primary difference here is that you are hanging this on a wall. Lineset determination will be in the insallation manual, as well as most pertnent information regarding insallation,start-up and operation of equipment.
Why not install a standard split unit and do away with the window shakers?
