Need some help with the nomenclature with a compressor. It is out of a old Fraser Johnston condensor, no spec plate on condensor only info still left on compressor is AH310GT-139, no make or any other info, it is R-22 single phase, believed to be a 3 ton. Any info you can tell would be appreciated.

Sounds about right. 31 = 31,000 BTU which is close to 36,000 which really is 3 tons. Changed one on a split the other day and the Copeland # was 31 for a 3 ton unit.
