I have a cooler that is not working as well the deli meats are at a 60d temp when it should be 35d to 41d the the temperature dial is set at high. The pressure are low 30 hi 325 the suction line is icing up. I already recover the refrigerant, vacuum and charge it. The condenser is clean. Also the unit condenser said that the ambient temperature should be no less then 86 d the ambient temperature is 87d would this be the source of the problem the other cooler is also icing up the suction side. please can you sudgest where i can get a cheap set of 134a gauges i been looking around here ant they cost 120.00$.
I appreciate all the help you can provide.
Thankyou
Raul

First, the head pressure is exceptionally high. 86 deg temp, you should see approx. 155psi. I would look into a restricton in the liquid line, or a malfunctioning metering device. If your manifold guages work properly and you have new hoses ( Mineral and POE ) then go to the Parts House and get a free PT Chart

I have a set if R22 guages that have a 134a scale on them. I only have experience with residential air conditioning though, but I know R22 uses mineral oil and 410a systems use POE oil. I don't like using the same hoses for both gases, as the mineral and POE aren't miscibile. It would be like putting a non condensible into the system.
You could probably be able to buy new guages and put them on your existing manifold. I know yellow jacket sells them seperately.
