Hi Everyone,

My furnace is working fine but there is a red LED light flashing on the front. It's an American Signature Freedom 80 Single Stage. I looked at the owner's manual and it says nothing. It seems to be working fine but I just want to know what the light is indicating.

Try removing the furnace doors and look for a legend of codes on the back. Most of the time a steady or slow blinking red light means normal operation (heartbeat). If it pauses and repeats itself then it is giving you an error code. Don't worry be happy. Get an annual maintenance done on it is a good idea.
