What is the minimum allowed distance between the exhaust port and a window that opens in a residental application?
I'm purchasing a home and this furnace exhausts to the rear through PVC at 24 inches next to bedroom window. The window is a double hung and the port is at the middle of the window.

4 feet away from windows around here. check with local building dept.

3 feet where I am unless the window is permanently sealed. You may be able to have a tech add some pipe/gooseneck it away if it fogs up the window. Would need to be insulated and may be ugly.
