My male dog has apparently been lifting his leg on my air conditioner. The AC still works fine Is this salvageable? Is it something that NEEDS to be fixed? If so, can you give me a guesstimate how much it would run.
Also, anyone want a really sweet dog?

You forgot the picture of the dog. I would start saving $$ for a new unit. It cannot be repaired but is still usable. The coil under the fins may start to leak soon. By the weathering color it looks like an older unit and the compressor may wear out/seize up B4 that happens. Keep Fido and put up a lattice fence/barrier about 12" away from it.
