I'm starting to go a bit nuts! I live in New Orleans and returned home after Gustav. I have gotten power back to my house but maybe not enough to turn the motors on the AC. I have replaced the fuses on both units and am getting some power to the compressor (not sure how much). when I turn the thermostat to cool the blower (fan)inside comes on but the compressor outside won't. It just has a low sounding hum. could this be a problem of not enough power coming in from the street due to damage from the storm or could this be a problem in the compressor or does something need to be reset. The Bryant therm had a "E2" code on the display when the power came back on. I'd be very grateful for ANY help!!!
Yeah ya rite!!!

e2 on that t-stat means low voltage , that means there is not a full 24 volts at t-stat
