I have an older Lennox rooftop unit used for residential.
the AC blows but does not cool. The compressor hums only. The C & S have continuity as well as the S & R on the overload.
Is my compressor toast?

Thanks, how do I test for that, is it 24v to ground ?

no this part is usually located in the control panel and is 230 volts , they are usually either black or aluminum , and may look like a frozen beer can ( bulging ) or either a oily substance leaking from it , always disconnect power before opening control panel, hope this helps
