I have a 10yrs old rheem furance when it fires up really slow the flames only stay on for a second, and by the time the blower starts the flame is out, so therefore only cold air is coming from the ducts, whats the problem

Sounds like dirty flame sensor or dirty burners

Try cleaning your flame sensorwith steel wool/fine emery cloth. It's a single steel metal rod located in front of the burners with one wire going to it. Hope this helps. If it doesn't, call for service. You may have a bad board, gas valve, limit, etc.
