you need to look at amp rating on motor 120 volt -___amps see if the motor is over amp. if it's getting hot then time to replace that motor don't take a chance with your life ..

The motor is not hot or even warm and looks new. I guess the motor is fine. Its just that when I attach the collector box to the secondary heat xchanger, the motor and fan turns but does not blow and suck the exhaust fumes out. The blowing pressure seems very low. This is tested at the collector box, so the attached exhaust pipe is not clogged. Ideas?

CO or CO2? Monoxide and Dioxide, two different thing. Unless bearing is going motor does not get weak over time. Alsosome need lubrication.

Sorry. Carbon Monoxide. I can also smell alittle of that nat gas smell when furnace goes on, but my carbon monoxide builds from 0 to about 35 in 15 mins. Over time it collects in my house until the alarm goes off at 50ppm. The furnace is now shut down until repaired. The motor is not warm or hot. Ideas?

Your secondary heat exchanger is probably plugged inside.
