Hi. My dad bought a Carrier compressor for my house on ebay. It uses Puron refrigerant and i just bought brand new Goodman gas furnace and coil. The compressor is three tons and the heater is too. My dad's HVAC guy says they are not compatible though, which my dad did not know when he bought the compressor. is there any way to make the two work together?

You can make the evaporator coil compatible but you need an R410a expansion valve installed on the coil.

The only way to make it work is to get a coil that is R410A and then the 2 can work together.
Are you calling the outdoor unit a compressor. (condenser)
