I get plenty of heated air on my first floor registers, but almost nothing upstairs. I have looked for a blockage, but have not seen anything. I have also checked the dampers which are open. Any help would be appreciated.

How long has this problem been going on? Ever since you have lived in the house or just recent?
I see a lot of large new houses with undersized heating and A/C equipment. We always end up installing an air handler with electric back up heat (sometimes a heat pump) in the attic to help the second floor. Problem solved!
Rookie HVAC service and installations. 3 years on the force!
