My heater when turned on starts the fan immediatly before the flame and the flame never lights. It used to light the flame and minutes later fan would kick on. Diagnostic codes blinks five times, please help.

you apear to have a lockout code, find the fault code, reccomend you call a contractor to determine cause of lockout, there are a multitude of posibilites. Try to reset furnace by shutting off power and restoring. Post fault code and what furnace is doing.

Look at the legend on the back of one of the furnace doors or the owners manual for what 5 blinks means and post it here.
