I have a york system, electric with heat pump. Last winter I noticed it was running constantly and never getting over 60 degrees in the house. Figured only heat pump was working. Had a company come out and the man crawled under the house where the furnace is and said it keeps shutting off, must be the circuit board, but never got back to me. The weather turned nice but now is cold and same problem. Is circuit board most likely problem or can it be as simple as a bad thremostat sending ironious information?

It could be a multitude of things, Filter, limits, blower, Thermostat, ETC ETC.

Ask friends or family who they use.

Thanks. The blower and heat pump run constantly. It seems the heat pump is trying to do all the work, it is just the electric furnace that keeps clicking off. I appreciate the input. I will check with friends who have had recent furnace work done.
