i want to put a natural gas forced hot air furnace in my shop to do this the gas line has to tie in to the gas line in the house go out the basement wall go 30 feet to the shop wall then inside and to the furnace so about a 50-60 foot run of new gas line i want to put the gas line under ground i thought about runing type k 3/8 id copper through electrical pvc conduit and lay it in the trench with my subfeed wire for the electric in the shop will this work and is it ok to have it in the same trench as the electrical if it will not work what can i put under ground and where do i get it

i found a product on line called gas flex by excel it is pe but has aluminum pipe instead of stainless national gas code says no aluminum underground but excel rates it for underground use anyone no about this

call a contractor gas lines by code cant go through EMT. Pressure drop needs to be calculated, from there supply piping can be determined. Never use cooper only gas tight or black steel pipe. Call a contractor to keep yourself from getting blown up.
