I have a carrier 58ss natural gas furnace that is fully powered and when the stat is above room temp. the ignitor clicks lights the pilot.... sometimes conitues to click but never lights the burner and continues to click while the pilot is on, or the ignitor clicks lights pilot goes out in about 2 seconds and continues this process but never lights the burners....I have cleaned the sensor and am begining to think it is the pilot ignition module does anyone please have some input

Check GROUND, I have run into this more times than I want to count.
Also if you have debris in pilot tube you may need to clean orfice out with small pin. Be careful not to in-large pilot orfice.
