I have a Lennox 80MFG furnace. When the furnace works, it turns off after about 2 min. When it has been serviced for a different problem, a service technician had found combustion air pressure went down.
If I run just a blower motor, connecting it directly to 110VAC, the pressure switch is always closed. If I monitor the switch when the furnace works normally, the switch opens after about 2 min after the ignition. Any ideas?

High wind kit is what is needed for that furnace they had a few problems with that model . I have same unit in my attic.1995

I bought my house 10 years ago.
Previous owners had the blower replaced because
as the service tech said, it was not the original one. It looks similar to the high wind kit you recommended on a picture http://www.cozyparts.com/Lennox-Parts/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=11K99
A difference I can see, on my blower the nipple is facing up, on the picture the nipple is on the motor side. Is there a way to determine if I have the high wind kit already? What is supposed to be on the motor name plate?

That's the one try that, and be sure to check all grounds on that system.

My question was whether I have this kit already? If you read my previous post, the blower has been replaced and it looks exactly the same as on the picture exept the nipple is facing up.
