the ruud furnace i am workimg on will not light even though the ignitor is sparking and the gas valve is clicking. yes the gas is turned on! i will try cleaning the pilot next i was just looking for some direction to go in thanks for your help.

hook up a manometer to manifold side to see to if gas valve is opening check and verify proper voltage to pilot valve, if you dont know what Im talking about call a contractor so you dont blow yourself up. If its spark to pilot make sure pilot orfice isnt clogged, better to call a contractor for any gas related issues.
