got a call from the wife today. She said the A/C was out. She said even the fan was not working. I came home and found that i had let the filter in about 2 months too long.
I pulled the filter and was able to get the fan to start running and the thermo is now clicking on to turn on the cooling. But, the outside unit does not do anything. It does not hum, the fan does not turn on, etc....
Any suggestions??? Thanks!

Cycle the circuit breaker, and see what happens.
