Ok, we have a coleman model dgat070bdd, I believe it is an Evcon. We had the heat exchange replaced under a recall about a year ago.
Now our heat won't turn on. The a/c and fan work together, and I can make the fan turn on anytime, but there heat doesn't seem to work. When you turn it on auto,it sounds like it's about to fire up, but never quit makes it. There is a green blinking light on the circuit board when this happens as well. it blinks 3 times, indicating a cent. switch is stuck open. Any ideas, or is tehre a quick fix for this? Any help is appreciated!! thanks.

This in a trailer? Inducer has four wires and maybe ground feeding it? Read the wiring diagram and ohm check the centrifical switch as you might have to replace the inducer and switch.

if the switch is stuck open check for a break into the vacum tube to the pressure switch. Also check for the vacum hole into the pressure switch for any debris if so clean with a pick carefully while pointing hole down so no debris gets into pressure switch. Also b4 all this verify the inducer is running. If you have a magnahelic gauge check the draft to the pressure switch it needs to be a set amount for it to close. The pressure switch very very very rarely is bad. Sometimes the diagphram through the years can rupture or the contacts can go bad but both of these cases are rare. I have had this code well over a hundred times and only twice was the pressure switch faulty.

So, Will replacing the motor w/switch solve the problem? I don't want to do unneeded repairs, but my buddy owns an a/c parts store and can get me to the motor very cheap. If it will solve the problem, I may just go that route.
Or are the pipes and all that not included?
I'm not real knowledgeable with a/c stuff. cars yes, a/c no :)

You are not playing with a/c now, fuel is way more dangerous, read that fatal. Get a pro in, maybe the ones who replaced the heat exchanger. Maybe your buddy with the store.
