I have a 1995 Heil furnace. The problem is that my electronic ignition pilot keeps coming on repeatedly but will not fire the burners. Does anyone have any advice for my problem, it would be appreciated....

Model number will help. Does the electronic ignition produce a spark (thick, spark plug type wire will go into the furnace) or does it glow red hot. You might only have a flame sensing problem... a pure guess at this point.

The model # is CUH5075BFA2. the electronic ignition does produce a spark and a flame that continues to restart every 5 seconds. I have two furnaces and have switched the ignitions around and the same problem still exists. It seems as if the gas valve is not opening and allowing gas to the burner. It is not the gas valve because I have already replaced that, what else could it be....maybe electrical?

The flame that continues to restart could be a pilot flame. In that flame will be a metal rod... the flame sensor. Try cleaning the end of that rod that is in the pilot flame. The pilot flame is going out because the flame sensing circuit is telling the gas valve there is no flame, so close. Also be sure all electrical connections are secure. Turn off power bfore doing anything.
