model #40YA030300. When in heat mode,it tripped the breaker. After retting it the fan would not come on. The board had a burnt spot so I replaced it, wired it just as it was before. The fan still will not come on. I have 240V coming into the board but only have 24V at R-C. No where else do I have 24V.The fuse on the board is good. The fan will work if wired direct.Any help appriciated

Sounds like you have a bad thermostat or control wiring. If you jumper R & W at the unit and the fan comes on then your culprit is the t-stat or wiring. Isolate the thermostat and wires at the wall and jumper R/G, if the fan runs, then it's the stat...Follow me.

Hope this helps.

I eliminated the thermostat. I jumpered R-G at the unit and no fan. The only place on the board I can get 24V is R-C.

is that 24vac on the board when calling for heat or just at no call for heat? If you jumpered R-G and the fan doesnt run, check the board for an outputin 240 also does this board have the relay with the nc and no an c on the relay? If so you may have the power feed and blower wiring wrong.

The power to the board will only plug in one way.I jumpered the R-G at the board with fan on and fan auto with a call for heat. I do not get 240V at the fan pins but I do at two auxliery pins. If I plug the fan into the auxilery pins would this bypass the fan relay??
