I have an International Comfort Products Corp NTC6075BFA1 which I recently turned on for the wintet. After vacuuming the cabinet and installing a new SpaceGaurd/Aprilaire 401 filter I am now noticing a constant low hum which seems to be emanating from the blower motor.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal or do I have an issue.
As a side note this furnace has been a pain. The control board for the ignitor went just inside the warranty period and the ingniter went last year. I change the SpaceGaurd/Aprilaire filter yearly - not sure what more I should be doing.
Richard.

Is there any chance something got into the squirrel cage? Some furnaces hace a shipping bracket which will cause that, if the blower motor has 4 mounting brackets one is just for shipping.Or it could be bearings. Transformers do hum as well replacing em will stop it, if that's what it is.
