I had a Trane T-stat and replacing with the new Hunter. Here is the configuration:
G - goes to G (Fan control) R - goes to RC/R (24VAC Supply) Y - goes to Y1 (Compressor stage 1) O - goes to O (cool mode powered reverse valve) B - goes to B (reversing valve heat)or does it? This is from a Trane t-stat. Is it the common ? W - no cross reference for W, only W2 for auxillary heat X2 - no cross reference for X2, traditionally is Second stage of Electric Heat on GE/Trane units.
Here are my questions: where to put B, W & X2 Option 1) W to W2 ||| X2 to E (emergency heat) Option 2) W to W1 ||| X2 to W2 Option 3) ???
Please let me know - it is getting hotter in here.
Thank You
Andrew Fay

Be sure to remove power to your fancoil before replacing your stat. It can be more than one 2 pole breaker.
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.

Thanks so much for your help. Your Hunter disgram is different than I have seen. Do I need to keep the jumper on the 2 reds? I also don't have a wire now for the "B" - is that ok?
Thanks so much for your help,

It is normal to use O or B, not both. I have had a poster inform me that it is necessary to use a jumper between Rc and Rh.
