day&night furnace model# 376baw036075. Our heater will not stay on. Try to turn heater on: small fan comes on; gas ignites, gas shuts off, big fan turns on and heater attempts to restart (all of this within 3 minutes) Next time to start heater: small fan on, gas ignites, big fan on, heater shuts off prior to temp setting, cycles to try and turn on (6 minute time elapse). Flame can run anywhere from 1 minute to the max of 11 minutes. We have replaced the filter, wall thermostat and pressure switch. Any thoughts on what can be wrong, how to locate bad parts and how to repair it?

follow the advice of houston204. clean the flame rod and make sure the rod stands in the flame.

I like fixing everything.

Check the setting of your heat anticipator in your thermostat and make sure it matches the setting on the gas valve

Clean your flame sensor with emery cloth or steel wool. Do not use sand paper.

Avoid touching the ignitor.

"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
