one hour after a tech came and fixed the leadk and recharged freon, my blower died suddently. I was able to bypass and make the blower .imaginging control board is bad. A couple of hours later, my outside unit does not come on. It looks to me contactor does not pull in.
I am pretty good at electricital stuff but not very familiar with A/C. I plan to replace control board to see what happens. If outside unit still does not come on, i might just replace contactor then compactor. I guess it is still cheaper in the way than calling a techinician.( i never had good experience A/C tech so far).
Still I am not sure if that is right thing and I believe I need to find out what caused the series of problems.
Can anybody have any suggestions I can do?

for the outside unit(condenser/compressor), test the voltage first to make sure power is on. It's likely a fuse to A/C blown.
I like fixing everything.

When you say "blower died", are you referring to the indoor fan that circulates air in the house? If yes, try setting the FAN to ON at the thermostat. Does the indoor blower run? If not, check for 120 volt AC power to the furnace. Also carefully check the furnace control board for any small fuse that might be blown. The power to the outdoor condenser contactor usually comes from the indoor furnace control board. So verifying the control board is working seems the best place to start
